What To Expect

Welcome to Two Wheeled Expeditions Women's Only Rides, an adventure designed for you. On these tours you will experience everything from urban chaos to breathtaking views while being guided by our uber-seasoned female ride captains and ride photographers. And best of all, when the ride is done and the grit of the road has settled for the day, you'll be able to while away your evenings in some of the finest spas, restaurants and hotels in Nepal.

After arriving in Kathmandu, a mythical place of temple squares, soaring stupas and cobbled medieval lanes, you'll begin to explore the nation that Mount Everest and 7 other of the 10 highest mountains on Earth call home. After 2 nights in one of Kathmandu's most beautiful hotels, our 900 mile / 1,450km journey through the former kingdom begins. From there we head west via Bandipur to the adventure sports capital of Nepal, Pokhara. Straddling Phewa Lake and nestled at the foot of the Annapurna Massif, it is a beautiful, laid back town where you can drink in the natural beauty of the country. Southward through the twisties of the Himalayan foothills takes us to the medieval town of Tansen where a night in one of our favourite guesthouses awaits. Further south, we experience a cultural evening in the town of Lumbini where Siddhartha Gautama, better known as the Buddha, was born. Next up, things take a turn from the supernatural to the plain old natural. The 360 sq. mi. / 930 sq meter Chitwan National Park is considered one of the best places in Asia to observe wildlife in their natural habitat. The final leg of our expedition loops us back toward Kathmandu via the lovely town of Nuwakot.

Before You Ride

You’ll need a few documents:
- Passport (with at least 6 months validity remaining)
- Nepal Visa (eVisa or Stamped Visa)
- International Driving License (available from AAA in the US and Australia, CAA in Canada, PayPoint shops in the UK)
- International Health Insurance (purchased pre-departure, eg. Allianz, GeoBlue Travel Insurance)
