It's not every day that we get to share the experience of an adventure ride in an exotic corner of the world with an icon. For this exclusive expedition through Kerala, we will be joined by Elspeth Beard.

Elspeth is a motorcyclist and award-winning architect and has been described as one of a select band of bold women to ride a motorcycle around the world. In 1982, at the age of just twenty-three, Elspeth left her friends and family in London and set off alone on a 35,000 mile solo adventure around the world on her 1974 BMW R60/6 with no sponsorship or support, in an age before email, cell phones and satnavs.

Elspeth set about writing her book Lone Rider which was published by Michael O’Mara in 2017. Following this in 2021 Lone Rider – The Photographs was published which consists of 450 photographs from her two and a half year journey.

On 03 February 2027, join us in 'the other India' with Elspeth and experience a landscape of the deepest green you have ever seen. Together, we will ride jungle switch backs and explore the rolling hills of endless tea plantations that will transport you to India pure.
