What To Expect

Starting and ending in magnificent Delhi, our 8-day circular route through the Thar Desert will take us from Delhi to Jaipur, Pushkar, Jodhpur, Udaipur, and Mandawa before heading back to Delhi. As you lay a thin ribbon of track through the silken sand that settles on the road, the soundtrack of the large single-cylinder Enfield becomes your perpetual accompaniment. A medieval fortress bathed in pink light appears on the horizon. A train of camels blocks our path for a time, but you won’t care. Trying to suppress the grin as you absorb where you are and, more importantly, what you are doing becomes futile. Roll on, for you are in.

Delhi - Jaipur - Jodhpur - Pushkar - Mandawa - Delhi

Before You Ride

You’ll need a few documents:
- Passport (with at least 6 months validity remaining)
- India Visa (eVisa or Stamped Visa)
- International Driving License (available from AAA in the US and Australia, CAA in Canada, PayPoint shops in the UK)
- International Health Insurance (purchased pre-departure, eg. Allianz, GeoBlue Travel Insurance)
